EAAS

Advocacy helps you to speak up for yourself so that people will listen to you and take notice of what you say.

The person who helps you is called an advocate.

An advocate will, if you wish:

* find out what you think about things

* help you to find out information

*stand by you when you have to make choices or decisions about things which affect your life

* accompany you to meetings or appointments

* help you to put your views across to other people

* stand by you when you have choices
